Severity & priority

Not sure how to rate it? Use the Severity / Priority Calculator for a weighted suggestion.

Fill in the bug above and click Generate report. Want the full field set (preconditions, frequency, workaround)? Use the Bug Report Builder.

HOW TO USE

  1. 01Enter the bug details — title, environment, build, browser, and the data or role you used.
  2. 02Build the reproduction steps, reordering them with the arrows until they read in the right sequence.
  3. 03Fill in expected vs actual, tick the evidence you have attached, and set severity and priority.
  4. 04Pick an output format — Markdown, Jira, Azure DevOps, or a short Slack summary — then copy or download.

Try it

Try the reorder arrows: add 'Navigate to /checkout', 'Add item', 'Click Pay', then move steps to fix the order.

WHEN TO USE

Use this when a bug needs to be reproducible on the first read. It nudges you to include environment, test data, ordered steps, expected vs actual, and an evidence checklist — the details that usually cause back-and-forth when missing. For the full field set (preconditions, frequency, workaround) use the Bug Report Builder; for rating severity and priority use the Severity / Priority Calculator.

WHAT BUGS THIS FINDS

  • Reports a developer can't reproduce

Vague or out-of-order steps stall a fix — the reorderable step builder produces a clean, numbered sequence.

  • Missing evidence and context

Reports without environment, console, or network info bounce back — the evidence checklist makes the gaps obvious before you submit.

  • Inconsistent bug quality across a team

Free-form bug text varies wildly — a shared structure plus Jira/Azure/Slack output standardises what everyone files.

QA USE CASES

01

File a developer-ready ticket

Generate Jira or Azure DevOps markup with ordered steps and evidence so the bug is actionable immediately.

02

Quick triage in chat

Use the Slack summary to flag a bug in a channel before the full ticket exists.

03

Standardise junior bug reports

Give new testers a structure that forces complete, reproducible reports every time.
