Branching & merging — quiz

You and a developer both need to modify the same test file at the same time — they're refactoring the framework setup, you're adding a new test. You both work directly on `main`. What goes wrong?

• Nothing — Git automatically resolves any concurrent change
• Whoever pushes second hits merge conflicts (or worse, overwrites the other's work), and there's no isolation to safely experiment without breaking the shared branch
